Members say it's the first gym they've actually enjoyed. And the last one they'll need.
(It's downhill the whole way here. The walk back up is your bonus leg day.)
Every coaching gym in Bath is down in town. Up your way it's a handful of big-box chains where nobody knows your name, or a patience-testing drive through traffic. CaliUnity is the closest gym where every session is coached, and you leave feeling stronger, more energised, and part of a community that cares.
This is for you if…
This isn't for you if…
Big chains sell more memberships than the floor could hold. They know most people stop coming six weeks in. Cali is built the other way round: we only do well if you keep coming, so everything here is designed to keep you coming.
Your goal is a stool. Most plans only give it one leg.
A gym membership on its own.
40+ coach-led sessions a week. Strength and mobility in one, scaled to you.
A personalised nutrition roadmap, a nutritionist around the gym, and habits for sleep, stress and recovery.
Coaches who notice when you don't show up. A community that celebrates when you do.
The 6-Week Challenge gives your goal all three.

A 1-to-1 to map where you're starting from. You'll be upside down before you leave. Promise.
Coached sessions, a custom nutrition roadmap, and a goal with your name on it.
Are you on track? We adjust the plan until you are.
You hit it. We celebrate. You decide what's next.
The Cali guarantee
Set a goal with your coach. Do the work. If you're not there by week six, we keep coaching you for free until you are. Around 1,000 people have been through this. We know it works.
Most of our members arrived after something. Menopause. An injury. Kids. Years of putting themselves last. Nobody came to get shredded. They came to feel like themselves again, a short walk from your door.
Tell us about you and your goals. We'll message you on WhatsApp within a day. And if we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
40+ coached sessions run here every week.
Takes under a minute. No spam, no pushy sales.
Cali is a not-for-profit community interest company. No shareholders, no chain HQ. Your membership pays great coaches, and what's left funds the free stuff: the free outdoor gym on Walcot Street, free teens' classes, the Cali Scholarship, and over 8,000 people helped for free so far.
You get coached. Bath gets a gym that gives back.
Not a sample timetable. These are the real sessions in our booking system right now. Tap one to meet the coach.
Most sessions are 45 minutes, numbers are capped, and every one is coached.
Yes. Most Lansdown members walk in under 10 minutes, straight down toward Walcot Street.
Most members train two or three 45-minute sessions a week. That's about two hours, out of the 168 you get. Classes run from 6am starts to evening sessions, Monday to Saturday (the real timetable is just above), so training fits around work and the school run rather than instead of them. And the honest bit: you'll be busy forever. A booked session with a coach expecting you has a way of happening. A loose plan to "go to the gym more" doesn't.
Not at all. Most members started as complete beginners. Every session is coach-led and scaled to you.
Probably, and you'd be in good company. Paul trained through 30 years of shoulder trouble and is now pain-free. Every session is coached and scaled, so you work around what hurts while it gets stronger. Tell us what's going on in the form and your coach will plan for it. For anything serious we work alongside your physio or doctor, not instead of them.
No. No barbells, no machines, no rows of treadmills. We coach bodyweight strength on bars, rings and the floor. It builds strength you actually use, and it's kinder to battered joints. If barbell lifting is specifically what you're after, we're the wrong gym for you, and we'll say so.
More than the big chains. Less than a personal trainer. And every session is coached, so you're never guessing on a gym floor. The more useful question: what's the cheap membership you never use actually costing you? We'll talk numbers on your call and tell you straight if we're not right for you.
You'll never walk into a class cold. You start with a 1-to-1, your coach knows your name and your goals before your first class, and the front of house walks you up and introduces you. Mel makes sure of it.
Clothes you can move in, trainers, and some water. That's it. There's nothing to buy.
Our own coaches, not a rotating cast of freelancers. Ask any member about Bryony's sessions, or Mel who runs the front of house. They'll know your name by week one.
No. Our members range from teenagers to their 60s. Ashley (you might have spotted her above) found her love for fitness in her 50s. Every session scales to you.
You're in the right place. Most members say the same. Quitting is usually a support problem, not a willpower problem: 8 in 10 of our members are still training consistently, against an industry average of about 3 in 10. A coach, a plan, check-ins and a room full of people who notice you make the difference. And if you do the work and you're not at your goal by week six, we keep coaching you for free.
The first step is a chat, and it costs nothing. If trying a session first is the right move for you, we'll sort it together. Nobody gets pushed into anything.
Yes, and plenty of people do. Bring them along to the chat. Training with someone you know makes week one easier and week six more fun.
We read your answers and message you on WhatsApp, usually within a day. Then it's a quick chat about your goals. A real person from the gym, not a call centre.
No form, no chat, no commitment. Pick whichever feels easiest.
The Cali Yard on Walcot Street is free and open to everyone, no sign-up. We crowdfunded it for Bath. Go have a swing.
🚶97-101 Walcot Street. The second most common way people find us is walking past. Glance in. We don't bite.
💬Ask us anything. A real person from the gym replies, and nobody chases you afterwards.
